Why did you join Haile Ambassadors?

I want to join the Haile Ambassadors Program because it offers a unique opportunity to represent the College of Business, which is an absolute honor! This involvement not only would strengthen my connection to the college but also provide a platform to develop valuable skills and expand my network. Foremost among these skills is the enhancement of my proficiency in public speaking, something that I am currently struggling with, but a skill that is fundamental in conveying complex concepts and engaging diverse audiences effectively. In addition, active participation in the program would foster the cultivation of leadership qualities as I collaborate with fellow ambassadors to represent 91³ÉÈ˶ÌÊÓƵ's College of Business with distinction. This cooperative environment would also sharpen teamwork and communication skills, both of which are paramount in the business world. It would also give me the opportunity to interact with professionals and potential employers at various events, which is also a huge upside!

Why did you join Haile Ambassadors?

I joined Haile Ambassadors as a sophomore at 91³ÉÈ˶ÌÊÓƵ. I joined mainly because of the organization's leader, Olena Pilyayeva, who emphasized the organization's welcoming atmosphere and growing opportunities. Back then, I was very timid and at a plateau. Olena's explanation of the benefits of joining Haile ambassadors—personal improvement and career growth—prompted me to join.

Which skills are you expecting to sharpen?

I expect to sharpen my public speaking and people skills. The events at Haile ambassadors give several opportunities to do so.

How do you think it will benefit you in the future?

I believe this experience will benefit me by allowing me to connect with several people, my peers, or business leaders. The experience would allow me to be comfortable with speaking in a crowd and being forward with my ideas.

Over time, I believe that these experiences will help me by broadening my network, enhancing my self-assurance, and giving me useful abilities that I can use in any line of employment. Why did you join Haile Ambassadors?

I was introduced to Haile Ambassadors while I had Olena as a professor. I was immediately intrigued and loved the idea of getting to volunteer around campus, network, and add an extra topic to my resume.

Which skills are you expecting to sharpen?

Haile Ambassadors allowed me to sharpen my skills in making small talk with other professionals. Even though this sounds simple, I really struggled to converse with other adults in a business setting, and the HA program helped me exponentially.

How do you think it will benefit you in the future?

This experience will help me to be confident when stepping out of my comfort zone.
